Dashboard gadget to track by two fields (e.g. pie chart by Worktype and story points)

Is it possible to customize a Dashboard gadget to track by two unique fields? In our case we want to track the volume of story point work based on worktype.

Our Great Gadgets app offers a Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) chart that allows tracking the story points by various criteria: ticket type, status, board column, etc. It is highly configurable.

Hovering the mouse over the chart will show the actual number at a certain moment of time. 

Is the work-type in your case given by the issue type? If so, this gadget will fully address your need.

Pie charts out of box is tracking against a specific field and break down the slices of the pie base on the different values. 

For the 2 fields, you may want to take a look at the 2 dimensional filter gadget.  or you may want to look at add-ons to add additional capabilities by expanding the current gadget set.
