For one user, a given dashboard shows all gadgets but one which is a
and shows
The filter configured for this gadget could not be retrieved. Please verify it is still valid on the issue navigator.
However the user can click on the issue navigator link and see the filter, just fine.
All permission and user IDs are AD/LDAP based, and this occurred after one of the AD groups was removed. The group has been re-added, but just this one user cannot see the one gadget.
There are many gadgets on the dashboard all with the same permissions / shares which he can see no problem.
To resolve I have reindexed and tried to delete and readd the table still no luck. Also I have tried on several browsers and clearing the browser cache to no avail.
Also I tail the logs both regular and security in /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log/ and nothing pops up when the user goes to the dashboard.
Any help on this weird issue would be truly appreciated.

I am not sure. We have upgraded since then. and I believe the problem went away as my user is not complaining about it, but I do not remember as it was a while back...
