Hello all,

The release board is specific for each project, is that possible to show the release of all the projects into one page?

for example, I want on a one page - all the releases of all the projects, not just only one project.

I used Jira road map gadget but it showing only upcoming releases.

Is there any other way to do this? If so please let me know,

Thanks in advance,

Hi @Sahish ,

unfortunately, release board is a project specific item and you can't have a single view for multiple projects. You can create a cross-project release in Advanced Roadmap ( https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-cross-project-release-in-advanced-roadmaps/ ) or you should develop your own gadget that retrieve all that informations for projects.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ ,

Thanks for the reply. Will refer the document which you have provided in the above reply.

Actually I tried with Jira Roadmap gadget, but it showing only upcoming releases.

Apart from this, may I know is there any possibility to do the above task using JQL?

Thanks in advance,

Manish

Hi @Sahish ,

using JQL you can just retry issues and related information (including version and project). I don't think that this approach can be compared with release version report.

Thanks for your immediate response @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ .

Yes I tried with JQL filter, and I got the result as you mentioned in the above reply.

Thanks for your support,

Manish

@Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ Hello Fabio,

Will it be possible to extract jira filters to excel at regular interval, may be using scripting ?

Hi @Sahish ,

if you need to extract excel with issues based on a JQL at specified interval you need to implement a job (using ScriptRunner or your own app). That file could be sent via email or saved on a server folder.

@Sahish You can also use Better Excel Automation for Jira (free) to automate the generation of Excel files. It adds new Excel automation features to Automation for Jira (paid or free). It also requires the Better Excel Exporter app (paid) to create the Excel files.

Check this video to get an idea of how it works.

Hi @Sahish ,

We provide an app called Dashboard Hub for Jira, which among others, provides the Releases gadget. This gadget displays the releases of your projects like you can see in this live example of a dashboard.

Hello Guys , we are currently facing some challenges with our dashboard, most of the gadgets in most of our key reports won't load or open .

At the rich filter back end, some of the JQL queries populating some of these fields have Amber and Red Alerts. So i have been given a task to look for alternative JQL queries ( if that would be the resolve ) that would make this dashboard load appropriately and not come up with (Uknown error) .

LinkedIssueinQuery is used to populate most of the gadgets,i have tried to changemodify code but seems not to be making any headway at the moment. does anyone have any idea on how to go about reolving this ?
