Hi Community member,

Got a new reqmt , my manager wants to have a look to number of issue created till date in JIRA on a  board with all the statuses like Closed, Open, In Progress etc. He is the JIRA admin

Run a filter for the issues you are interested in, then use it on a dashboard gadget.  Filter statistics is probably going to tell you the most - if you select "status" as the statistic, it will list all status and the number of issues in each,.
