Database monitoring Connection Pool graph

Ramu October 2, 2018

white space between the graph reporting? Occasionally Jira becomes unresponsive, would that whitespace be because Jira isnt running so it isnt reporting? We have verified the logs but we don't find any errors .So could you please suggest on this

Yes, it probably is downtime - if Jira isn't running, it can't collect the data for the graphs.

If you don't see any green or blue it means that there are no idle or active connections. You might want to submit a formal ticket to Atlassian support to get an answer.  Usually it has to do with some sort of performance issue, you should look here and make sure everything is configured properly: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/tuning-database-connections-802592189.html?_ga=2.139076787.162101876.1538499088-188448510.1531496950
