Good day! I am using the Element connection for jira software server plugin and I cannot add a connection to MS SQL database. The error is "Datasource connection test failed: 'Cannot instantiate a database driver Connection creation failed with driver com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver: Login failed for user' svc.adusersync '. ClientConnectionId: 20d4c5b6-cbd2-4d7a-864a-1c5bee1c '"

Hi,

That error approximates to "wrong driver." Make sure the DB is a supported version for your version of Jira and possibly look into https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/update-the-microsoft-sql-server-jdbc-url-in-jira-server-934718842.html. Cheers!
