We have Advanced Roadmaps enabled.  When I create an issue from an epic, then the default Issue Type is Initiative.  I want the default issue type when I create an issue from an epic to be Story or Task.  How do I change the default?

I have the same problem, I want Task to be at the top (I have changed the order of the Issue Type Scheme) but it is still alphabetical with Task at the bottom and Issue is the default

Hi JoEllen

Try changing the Issue Type Scheme for that project to move the Story or Task issue type to the top of the list instead of Initiative.
