Defect Issue Types will not show up on Kanban board

Ok I just reconfigured a project - added a two new custom fields / field configs / screens / screen configs, issue type screen schemes and added a workflow.  Everything works except the Defect issue type.  I can create the issue and I can find it via issue search. I can also use the screens to transition it through the workflow.  But it will not appear on the Kanban board.    I have looked at the filters on the board and the column sorts. I have re-indexed JIRA.   

Anybody have any ideas?

Has a board sub-filter also been applied?

Are you able to send a screenshot of the board's configuration?

just look whether defect issue type has been added to issue types or not in project settings

Ok it was the sub-filter.  It related to the fixVersion.
