Delete a project in Jira

This seems to be a simple task but now I have spend several hours in figuring it out:

How do i delete a project in jira???????

I have Site-admin

I belong to the Administrators

I am a member of the project.

The details pain simply doesnt show when I press projects in project settings.

I believe this can work.

Click Projects dropdown in top navigation and select "View All Projects". Click on your project name which needs to be deleted.

When the page loads, please select the Project Settings on bottom left hand side corner. Click on Project Settings and then select Delete Project link from top (4th link)

Please share more details if you have already done this and see other issues showing up on screen.
