Hi,

Just to be clear, deleting a filter wont delete the issues in Jira, correct?

Correct, you are safe.

A filter is just a definition of a question - "show me issues that match this criteria".  Deleting it has no effect on the issues that it might be returning.

Issue deletion only happens if you delete issues explicitly, or delete a project.

Hi @Aleksandar Salevski ,

Thanks for posting in the community.

Absolutely yes. A filter is projection based on certain criteria and to display some insights to individual or group of people and issues projected in filter would not be deleted if you delete a filter.

Having said that, there is one option to bulk update in all the issues projected in that by clicking (...) on the right corner > Bulk Change but I think that's not something you are looking here.

Please accept the answer if it helps else please respond and allow others to share inputs.

Cheers
