Good morning! Someone working on a project in my department accidentally deleted a sprint from a project using a scrum board. I wrote a JQL filter to pull in the issues that were deleted and suggested that they effectively re-create the sprint, but I feel like I'm probably missing something. Is there a better way to re-create or even recover a sprint?
I think you're doing it right.
If you look in sprint reports you can see the details from the deletedn sprint (name, start and end date, tickets that were in it, ...)
If you make a new sprint with the same parameters and move the tickets inside it should be fine.
If your colleagues do this every week maybe you should look further :-)
To add to this, you can use the bulk change option to sign the cards to a new sprint. That way you're not manually adding each card
