Having reorganised and then deleted the roadmap for a far more concise and accurate project plan i go into backlog and all the items deleted are in the backlog in their present "to do" or "in progress" states. Even though those tasks were deleted. Imagine 186 issues in roadmap and spending two days to whittle that down to 108 issues. Then to plan the sprint you goto backlog and lo and behold the same 186 issues are listed in the backlog. They are not backlog. They were tasks that then got dumped/deleted.
Im guessing this problem is regardless of free/paid/enterprise versions and across the board.
Hello @GameDev,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Just to make sure that we are on the same page, I would like to know the steps you followed to remove the tickets from the Roadmap.
Testing on my local site, I deleted some issues from the Roadmap and it was also removed from the Backlog.
Also, you don't need to delete one by one. You can go to Filters > Advanced search and filter all the tickets you want to delete and bulk delete it.
Please, let us know more details about the steps you followed so we can do the same here to check what is happening.
Regards,
Angélica
Hello Angelica
We must live in a Twighlight Zone. I have just literally tried this and it does indeed delete it on the backlog. I think the cache on the browser must not have cleared or something for the same tasks to appear on the backlog after deleting them on the roadmap, the normal way of clicking on them, top right (three dots icon) then selecting delete.
So it seems fixed.
Thanks for replying.
