Deleting original key from a moved isse

Hi,

After moving an issue is it possible to delete the reference to the original key reference by deleting the entry from the 'moved_issue_key' table?

Hi @Mike Rolls ,

technically you can do that. That table keep mapping between the old key and the new issue object so, if you delete it you will delete the old reference.

Btw, I don't understand why you should that considering that this operation could have impacts like :

• Reference in comments, description or in other text field or URL field could not work anymore
• Filters based on issue keys (if existing) could not work anymore
• Links in Confluence pages could be impacted
