Hi to all,
my customer uses Jira. A user account was created, by using my companies eMail address.
I tried to logon to Jira by the web site but then a new account was created.
Now I tried to delete this account but I failed because the account is managed.

a) who is managing my account now ? How can I get this information ?

b) what must be done to delete my account without deleting my account from the customers tenant ?

c) how can I logon into a customer tenant by the web side ? Is this possible ?

d) what type of account do I have ? How to identify this ?

Thank you very much ...

Best regards
Markus

So you have two accounts with two different emails now?

a) whoever has claimed the account's email adresses domain in an Atlassian Org. So if the Account you're using is abc@test.com then your account is managed by whoever claimed the test.com domain. That can usually only be done by the people actually owning the domain.

b) Atlassian Accounts are universal. They can be invited to multiple Organisations/Sites but the Account object remains the same, the Email being the primary key. If you delete the Account, it will be removed/deleted from your customers tenant. Creating a new account with a different email adress will result in a different account all together. The Atlassian Support may be able to merge the two together

c) erm... yes? Should be possible with either of the accounts

d) You have an Atlassian Account, see a/b).
