Depending on a custom field value, view issues with a certain status and for other status, view only

Hi Teams,

I have this case scenario:
Depending on a custom field value, e.g Data Domain field, a group or a role need to view all requests/issues with a certain status, e.g Status "New".
For other status, then group or role should view only part issue based on the custom field value.

Is there a way to create this functionality or do we need an add-on?

I would look in to issue level security.

With that you can specify rules that will hide/show issues based on the rule you specify. You can use custom field values/groups/roles/...
