After successfully connecting Azure DevOps for Jira, we noticed that deployments are not being triggered correctly or displayed in the Jira interface. The integration completed without errors, and both commits and branches are syncing properly. However, deployment data does not appear in the development panel of the issues.

We’ve confirmed that the pipelines in Azure DevOps are completing successfully and that deployments are indeed happening. Still, this information is not being reflected in Jira.

Interestingly, in some tests, when we configured a deployment using an incorrect environment value—specifically setting the environment as "$(environmentName)"—some deployment events were actually sent and appeared in Jira, although the environment was obviously not valid. This suggests that there might be an issue with how environments are being mapped or recognized during the integration.

Attached is an example of one of the deployments that should have been displayed in Jira but wasn’t.

We would appreciate your support in identifying the cause and helping us ensure that deployment events are properly captured and shown in the Jira interface.
