Is there a way to have an event fire when a user has their role changed on a project?
Our projects have some role sensitive workflow transitions, and we are worried some of the project admins are gaming the system by toggling these roles when the access is needed. While we can see these situations in the issue history, we would like the ability to pinpoint when/who modified roles on what users
Hi Jordan,
Hope you are having a good day!
Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to have an event fired when a user has their role changed on a project.
However, it is possible to achieve this if you have Scriptrunner and can write a custom script.
I found the following post with a solution for this:
Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Carlos

Hey Jordan,
The concept is the same. You need scriptrunner to be able to write scripts to perform as required.
Unfortunately, the only way that I know to achieve this behaviour is by having an add-on like Scriptrunner with a custom script to do it.
Cheers,
Carlos
