In a company-managed work-management jira, I have created a custom issue type (type: task), with an associated workflow, screen, etc... and field configuration. In this field configuration I looked up the "Development" (locked field), which I believe is the same field in standard software Jira to see branches from Bitbucket. Unfortunately, when adding this field to my screen I still cannot see it. I also have other custom fields which work fine.
From Bitbucket, I can link the jira page, and link the jira issues. So the issue is really only about the screen in jira.
Is there a way to display this field in the screen?
Thank you
Looking at your screenshot, I think there are 2 fields named development, one with a capital D and one without.
Are you sure have selected the correct field?
Hi @Marc - Devoteam,
I find it weird as well, but there are no other fields available. As you can see in the screenshots, the field is present, just hidden. However, I have no idea where it was set hidden (since it's a locked field), and the field should be displayed even if empty.

Can you check the field configuration used on the project, it might that the field is hidden there

Thanks for the help.
I have looked again, but I cannot find where the field might be hidden. I'm sending you again the field from the project field configuration (and this issue type) uncropped:

I check my system on Cloud and the field Development (Locked) is not addable to a screen.
This is part of the Development panel.
So the field development on you screen is not related to the development (locked), but a created custom field.

Okay I found the field in the "Custom Fields", but it is still native from Jira:
For some reason, in the project field configuration, this same field goes from "development to "Development", I cannot find another. The field is there in the field configuration, but if I remove it from the screens (from the field configuration page), such that it is no more in a screen, and then I try to look it up from the screen, I cannot find, although it belongs to the field configuration...

I would contact Atlassian on this, to have them check your backed.
There might be an issue on your instance.
I have multiple Cloud instance and al only have one Development field that can't be chosen as an option on a screen, or have context set.
Might it be that you migrated from Server to Cloud and it was a custom field then and now on Cloud it has been seen as the default development field and set to locked?
