Difference between adjust automatically and use existing estimate

Hello,

I am very confused about the time management. If I close a bug, I need to adjust automatically or use existing estimate ... what is the difference? I noticed no difference at the end.

Same to 'set to ... ' and 'reduce by ... ' (it's just the values, that are different).

In my opinion, this is very confusing to have both options, just one would have been enough!

And why is there still estimated time although an issue is closed?

Thanks

Adjust automatically will take away whatever time you entered into the Log Work screen from the original estimate.

Use existing estimate will leave the estimate alone

e.g.

Original estimate = 10hrs

Work for 5 hours

Adjust automatically = 10 - 5 = 5hrs

Leave estimate = 10h

Closing issues do not affect the estimated time, you can use transitions to edit them though, but that is custom logic you add.
