Have reviewed the Federated multiple Instance documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/federating-jira-managing-multiple-instances-961257360.html but looking for recommendation when the dependency is between two different owners. Those owners do have access between Jira, meaning they can see each other's Jira but not perhaps admin access. Use case is want to create link to allow for dependency link in stories to their Jira story, or vice versa.

Hi @Fiona Quick

Can you please elaborate on the different owners' part?

It is possible via remote links

Thanks,
Pramodh

So we are company ABC, they are company XYZ, we are engaged together on same project, have access to each other's Jira, need insight to each other's dependencies and Jira projects. Would like to be able to add their Jira project to our board as a dependency. Remote link would seem to work. Just wondering if there was some other way to link the two boards' dependencies.

Hi @Fiona Quick

Jira native features might be limited to achieve this requirement with full fledge.

There are some plugins like Jira issue sync to achieve boards dependencies

Thanks,

Pramodh
