We're using advanced roadmaps in my company but the two different departments have not the same needs for the advanced roadmaps. The delevopment team need to plan what to build and when, and the other part of the company need to know what to deliver and rollout to the customers and not so much on what they developers are buildning next. To my acutal question, can you set up different hierarchy in advanced roadmaps depending on plans? Since the needs are not the same
You can customize your views to reflect the level and type of detail you'd like to be visible. Additionally, yes, you can build a custom hierarchy in jira but that hierarchy will apply to all projects. The hierarchy is represented by differing issue types.
