Hi All,
I have a situation: Our team pick Jira issues from multiple projects (5-6) on the basis on a Fix Version field. We pick issues with a certain value in Fix Version and work on them. But the problem is these source projects keep on adding/deleting/changing issues within a release and we have to manually keep on checking these changes.
So, we tried creating our team's tasks under their issues but that approach failed as our team work on different timelines and if our tasks are not complete then their project reports and closure gets hampered.
So, is it possible to create task/sub task for our team under their issues with a different workflow. We want to keep a connection with these jira projects/issues but in a way that our tasks closure does not impact them and if they make any changes to their issue it gets automatically updated at our end.
Any suggestions if this is even possible or any other way to achieve it.
Thanks!
I saw variations via two different addons, updating issues in separate projects but haven't set them up by myself yet:
Perhaps that helps already.
