Disable http access to Service IT

I Would like to disable the access to the Service IT using HTTP port 80 and leave it only on port 443 . How can this be done ?

Basic process is to move the front-end server to https, and then change the JIRA base url.

Difficulty is that we don't know what your front-end server is.  It might be just the Tomcat JIRA is running under, but you might also be behind a proxy or load balancer. 

Can you tell us what the front-end is?  Apache, Nginx, plain Tomcat, Something else?
