Disable "Rapidly create and edit issues" feature in jira

Is it possible to disable this new feature in jira? I accidentally edited description of issue many times. Is there some setting where I can disable this feature only for my login?

Yes, you can indeed turn this off but only for all users.And you need to be system administrator in JIRA.

This option is located in the general configuration page. In OnDemand you have to acces the "Issues" part of the configuration. The switch is just there, look for "inline editing".
