Hello! I am running JIRA 4.4 and integrating it with my application so that we can use JIRA to track customer support tickets. The web application integrates with JIRA using the SOAP API and creates accounts for our customers in JIRA, removes them from the jira-users group, and adds them to a special customer-service group. They have no access to log in to JIRA, the only ones logging in are my colleagues and myself to manage the support tickets.
The problem I have is that JIRA sends out an account created e-mail to the customer accounts, with a link to verify their account. How can we disable this e-mail, but still have JIRA send the ticket update e-mails? I've been poking through the settings, but it does not look like this is a configurable option from the GUI.
Thanks in advance!
Use JEMH, which has an option to create users quietly.
