Discovery Project and Software Project Centre Plan/Timeline

Currently I am working in the research and development department. 

A head of a BU has asked me.to investigate if there is a way to have Plan or Timeline that can show the status of items within Discovery Project and Software Project. (One centre place)  

He wants to see how the product discovery ideas within the discovery project are progressing but also when they become active projects within software project area which are within the delivery stage. 

I know software project very well not no experience of discovery project. So help needed JIRA people

So my question is : Is possible if so, how I create the  Plan or Timeline.

Hi @Sian Snook,

Discovery / Ideation and delivery are basically different stages of the same thing. They are connected, obviously, but also different.

Assuming that this head of BU is mainly interested in a high level overview of (delivery) progress against an original idea, Jira Product Discovery (JPD) allows you to connect the delivery work to your idea tickets. In that sense, it is possible to visualise delivery progress right from within the delivery view in JPD.
