Hi! I have created a custom field (single-value choice) and need to display some descriptive text during issue creation, so that the user gets a better understanding of what type of information should select.
Is there any way to do this?
I have checked some posts here in the past but non of them seems to be working.
I am working with Jira cloud premium plan.
Thank you!
Hi @Konstantinos Antonakopoulos
You can change the description of the field via the fiend configuration of the selected project.
Let me know if that helps.
thanks @Alex Koxaras -Relational- for the answer.
What I guess I am after here is to be able to show some static text next to the custom field for the end user when he is about to fill in the field.
The description you are referring to is during field configuration. Perhaps there is some way to show this description at the screen?
Cheers!

@Konstantinos Antonakopoulos isn't the following image (red rectangle) what you are trying to achieve?

Thanks it worked nicely! I have also managed to add some url in the description which redirects the user to the source.
Thanks!
