Display additional field when selected the other field

Hi Team,

Would there be a way to create a field that populates the persons name who changes the "Escalation" field to Yes or No?  It is currently in the Work Log section below in the ticket, so would there be a way to capture it into a field ?

We would like to be able to track who is escalating the tickets, since only managers are able to do it not just the reporters.

Create user picker field called Escalated by and make it required for escalation transition or allow only managers to execute the escalation transition
