Display issue type on swimlane

My users would like to have the board configured to use swimlanes by story. There are three different types of issues that would display as swimlanes. The team has indicated that the icon for the issue type is not intuitive (I have 3 different icons). They would like the issue type displayed on the swimlane, is this possible?

Hello Scott,

It would be pretty simple to add a label with the issue type name on the swimlane card, however, it's not possible to customize the fields displayed in the Swimlanes of an active board.

We have a feature request about this matter here:

- Ability to configure fields to be displayed on story swimlanes

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

For now, since you are using a small number of issue types, I believe the best option would be to configure a documentation or text field describing what icons are related to each issue type until your team gets used to it.
