Display the parent custom field value on sub-task transition screen

Hi Team,

 I am trying to display the same custom field value from the parent ticket to its related sub-task.

For example : 

I have a field named "Consultant" (user picker field). I have added this field to the parent ticket and the sub-task.

On sub-task: I added the field "Consultant" to the transition screen, and it is a mandatory field. If the parent ticket "Consultant" field has value, and when I transition it to a particular transition on a sub-task, it should display the parent ticket value in this transition field. Is there any way ?

Do you only want it copied from Parent to sub-task during that transition? If you always want it copied, you could create an Automation rule that triggers when the field is edited on the parent and have it automatically copied to its children.

I guess, as long as it isn't on the View screen, you could always copy it, but you'd only see it on the transition screen.

I want to it display there, if user wants to change, they will change, otherwise continue with the existing value.
