Displaying Subversion information from the Project's Activity Stream

Is there a way to the get Jira Subversion plugin information to be displayed on the project's activity stream?

Would this be possible if we used FishEye instead?

Yes, there is a Fisheye gadget you can add to Jira dashboard to show updates.
