Do Customfields share the same ID as the Issue they are in?

I'm currently trying to get when a customfield was created and updated from the jiradb database. I used the ID of the customfield but I'm not getting the correct created/updated date on the audit_log table. Is this due to the ID of a customfield being shared with the issue they are created in?

It looks like you can only see when a CF is created or updated in the Audit Log.
