Do the Days in column include weekends?

I am seeing that the Days in Column feature is including the weekends even though I am not setting them for the word days... is this accurate?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The Days in column consider the 7 days of the week, even if we select only weekdays and uncheck weekends, it will still count all the days.

With that said, this issue was reported as a bug, because it shouldn't consider weekends:

• Days in column indicator dots should respect non-working days for the board
