I have a project named ABC having 7 boards and customised schemes in workflow , screens , etc. I need to use this project as a base / parent to build multiple projects.
It is possible with "create with shared configuration" (copies the schemes fine)but this does not copy the boards. So I have to manually copy the board settings every time .
Is there a solution for this in JIRA or any addon available to help with this ?
I am using JIRA software server 7.6.3
Hi,
You can try this add-on https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211949/gaia-for-jira-project-template-manager?hosting=server&tab=overview
You can alson take a look at this page https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Core-questions/Custom-Jira-Project-template-How-to-clone-board-from-quot-Create/qaq-p/400747
Hope this helps
Hi Mohamed ,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried the "gaia" plugin but that does not copy the boards from the source to destination so that does not help.
And in the other link I don't see a solution for this , there is just a workaround that I am already following(using 'create with share configuration' and duplicating the projects by the use of filters) . I rather need a project template available in the window when we give "Create Project"
Any help will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Prathiba
