Do we have something like issue reminder?

Let me explain my question with an example

I assign an issue to an employee and next day i have to ask him that if he finished or started the job and sometimes i get i didnot see it answer.

So i imagine an issue reminder that will pop-up on his browser until the issue is done

Is there something like this in Jira, i think there should be one

Jira does not offer this kind of feature out of the box, and I am pretty sure that you can find a Jira app answering to your needs on the Atlassian Marketplace.
