Does JIRA support SQL Server 2008 Express?

I have read that you can connect JIRA to SQL Server 2008 but can you connect it to SQL Server 2008 "Express"? Thanks.

Express editions are not supported as per Atlassian's documentation.

Yes, and there's a good chunk of information at http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?messageID=257349096&#257349096 which includes a working config.

However, as Jobin says, you are NOT supported on it and I'd recommend swapping to a supported database instead
