Does Marketplace App Pricing Include JSM Client Atlassian Accounts?

We have a Jira instance with 7 paid users for Jira, Confluence, and Service Management. Additionally, we have 90 Atlassian accounts that have client access to Jira Service Management (JSM) but no product access. These accounts can only log in to the JSM Customer Portal.

We are considering purchasing an app from the marketplace, and the pricing description states:

How do I determine my cloud pricing?
Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.

Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management and Jira Software, the app is technically available across the entire Jira instance. Therefore, the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

My question:
Do the 90 JSM client accounts count toward the pricing, or would I be charged only for the 7 product users? Based on the text, I think it's the latter, but I'm seeking confirmation from someone who knows for sure.

Hi @Jordi Amenós,

It is the latter. Your client/customer accounts are free accounts, not taken into account for pricing of your marketplace apps. You only need to look at your 7 paid product accounts.
