If someone wants to change an issue type name in one of our projects, what are the JIRA elements that need to be modified?

Your Question Summary and Description are different. 

Summary says "Changing a screen name" on which the answer is just change the screen name in the Admin menu and everything else will be changed (You don't need to manually change it on all the place that it has been used)

Description says "Change Issue Type name" on which the answer is the same. Just the change the Issue Type name in the admin menu and everything else will follow.
