Hi everyone,
Within my company we use the Server-based*** Jira on a daily basis for CIPS, SOPS, Projects, etc.
Ideally, I'd like to move all of our 2025 CIPS over from the old one to the new cloud-based Jira, just to make things easier. Can anyone provide a how to, or knows how we can do this in the most efficient way possible? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Please let me know! Thank you!
(P.S: if anyone has any idea how to do the same thing with confluence, please let me know)
Hello @Grayden Donald
What do you mean by "old" Jira and "new" Jira?
Are you trying to move data from one Jira self-hosted (Server or Data Center) instance to another Jira self-hosted instance?
Are you trying to move data from one Jira self-hosted (Server or Data Center) instance to a Jira Cloud (software-as-a service) instance?
Are you trying to move data between two Jira Cloud instances?
If you are trying to move data from a self-hosted (server or data center) instance to Cloud you can find information on that here for both Jira and Confluence:

Hello @Grayden Donald ,
As it has already been mentioned, it's important to know what Jira you mean, Cloud or Data Center.
If we speak about Jira Cloud, maybe this resource might be useful: https://gitprotect.io/use-cases/jira-data-migration-and-management.html
