Does "Script Runner" plug-in supported JIRA v5.2.9 ?

 

What is the difference between "groovy script" and "script runner" is it same plug-in?

Yes, the script-runner addon has been valid for all versions of JIRA for a VERY long time.  Certainly before 4...

Technically, a "groovy script" is the code you'll put in somewhere, and when we say "script runner", we're usually referring to the plugin, not the scripts you use to run it.
