Don't add all attached to the child issue

Hi!

I need to add only the attachment that runs in the transition (in this transition create a child issue), but copy all attachments from the parent issue

Is a specific issuetype e.g a supplier with different contracts, but the all attachments in the issue supplier are copied in the contracts.

This is the supplier with 3 "contracts"

Then I execute the transition "Añadir contrato"

This transition create a new issue "Contract" with a new attachment

But the create a new Contract copy all attachments

I need the create a new Contract only with the attachment tha execute in the transition

Is it possible??

Can I ask what you are trying to solve for by having all the attachments directly in Jira? Jira itself, attachments are really meant to be on a given issue on intake etc. But it's not meant to be used as a complex attachment system. For what you are trying to do, is there a reason you aren't trying to use a dedicated file tool like box, or google drive etc as they offer a lot more security for attachments and then just creating links on the issues for the attachments?

That's how I would recommend doing it, the actual business problem would be helpful if that doesn't solve your issue.

Keep in mind Jira has no way to encrypt attachments nor will it, but most of those other services do.So you do two things by moving them to a proper service, secure your data, and limit the amount of bandwidth for each issue being created.
