Don't change assignee Kanban board

is it possible that when I transition an issue from one columne to another that the assignee will not change to my name?

Hi Joshy

Each transition can potentially have a Post function which is where the change of assignee happens. What you're seeing is specific to your implementation of Jira - one of your Admins would need to make that change in the Post function
