Don't show markup until saved (description)

When I use markup in the description, it will already show how it will be rendered. How can I turn this of in Jira Cloud (New Issue view), so that it will only be shown when Saved?

I hope you are having a nice day.

The new issue view uses Markdown formatting instead of Markup and you are correct to say that it renders at the same time it is applied instead of render after the text is saved, as the markup of the old view did before.

Unfortunately, there's no way to change this functionality, however, I must confess that I don't see a scenario where this change would be useful.
