I have installed trial version on Jira 5.2.2. When I tried to install the Greenhopper from, I get the following error
The Atlassian Marketplace server is not reachable. To avoid problems when loading this page, you can disable the connection to the Marketplace server. Click here for more information... .
I also tried to download the plugin (jar) file separately and upload the plug in, still getting an error while Enable with some unknown error.
I did tried by removing the .bundled-plugins and .osgi-plugins and there are no JAR files under my $JIRA_HOME/plugins/installed-plugins. But no luck yet.
Try shutdown JIRA and put the jar file you downloaded at $jirahome/plugins/installed-plugins.
After that, clear the $jirahome/plugins/.bundled-plugins and $jirahome/plugins/.osgi-plugins.
Then restart JIRA and see if that helps?
Otherwise, you might want to raise a support over at https://support.atlassian.com/ - Greenhopper project for support.
Hi Vinoth,
Do you have any proxy, firewall, or SSL running in front of your instance? Could you try bypassing them and then trying to download the plugin?

Which error do you wish to fix? The "marketplace" one is probably going to be about your network connection (although I'd also try updating the plugin manager itself). Or do you want to concentrate on the uploaded plugin? (Start with your log files on this one)
