Drag and Drop on board

my board column has 3 statuses each and while dragging and dropping an issue on active print board, it does not show which status do i want to move the issue to, it just drops the issue in the column and assigns a random status.

Normally the browser shows multiple areas in the column for each assigned status.

Have you tried the action in another browser?

Is your browser up-to-date?

Do you have any browser plug-ins which might be affecting things?

Are other users experiencing this problem too?

my browser is working fine becuase i dont see this issue in our prod jira. i only see this is test jira so i am assuming this is just an issue in test and should be fine in prod.

That suggests that someone has set up an automation or script on your test server that is changing the status after you move the issue.
