Hello,
In my company we use "normalized" status and workflows. I mean that we created our own status and workflows.
Everything works fine excepted that build in status appear in the status filter when we look for tasks. This is confusing.
So we intend to drop these status and the associated workflows (ex: Status "to do" and workflow" Software Simplified Workflow for Project TD)
Did anybody try this ?
Marc
Thank you John.
This will work to ADD new status and workflows.
But I wanted to REMOVE default status from the "search issues" panel.
I'm a little confuse because in my understanding Atlassian force us to use the default statuses and allows additional custom ones. One can not use his own statuses only.

Alternately is there a way to hide some statuses in the "tasks search" panel ?
Otherwise we will filter on project before to filter on status

Oh, to remove statuses, you would follow the same process - make a copy of the existing one, then remove any statuses you don't want (and/or add new ones) BEFORE you link the new workflow/scheme to a project.

You can't delete default workflows. You have deal with those statuses.
