Dropdown list with color or image

Hi, 

I would like to report on statuses based on colors. Currently we just made a dropdown list with:

• Red
• Green
• Orange

Obviously I would prefer to do this a bit more graphic e.g. with traffic lights kinda pictures/colors.

Is this possible? 

I show this fields on dashboards using the Filter list gadget, so it would have to pop up in there.

Any help is most welcome:)

Hi Gerlof,

From JIRA 6.2 onwards, it is not possible to select an icon or add more colors to issues statuses. This is further explained in the links below:

On JIRA 6.1.x, it is possible to upload custom icons for statuses:
