EOL health check error on offline JIRA server

Hi,

I have Jira server installed on a linux system in an internal network which is not connected to internet for security reasons.

After having installed some additional applications I was asked to perform a reindex, which failed on the EOL health check with a java.net.UnknownHostException (marketplace.atlassian.com: Name or service not known).

I understand why I get this error (not being connected to internet obviously means I can not reach marketplace.atlassian.com), but how can I avoid it to make the EOL check work properly ?

Hi Guillaume Vandebeuque

There is a workaround to make the EOL message not displayed on offline sites.

See solution provided on JRASERVER-61781 for further information.
