In our projects we tend to assign tasks upfront so we can 'easily' tell if a particular person is overloaded, based on the amount of time they have allocated for a sprint.
I appreciate this isn't the preferred scrum 'way', but it works well for us as we sometimes have people spread across multiple sprint teams and need to see if there are conflicts.
My question is - what is the easiest way people have found for checking if a particular person is overloaded? At present we go to the Planning Board, select the Assignee and use the Time Remaining statistics bar to show us their cut-off point.
This works ok, but is a pain if you have lots of people in your sprint.
There must be an easier way to do this, or is it 'by design' because you shouldn't really allocate all tasks upfront based on the scrum ideals...
