Hello, is it possible to change settings in a more easy way? I mean i have to go to several pages or settings to change related stuff but in different places. And why cant i change settings afterwards if i for example thought that a Kanban board was enough but i want to add estimates later on and should have chosen Scrum instead. I found out that I need scrum so i have two weekly sprints, but besides that i want a kanban board to see the progress as a team or project manager instead of what is in the sprint.
It would be very nice to know if this is possible. So i can add the estimate field in a ticket/story/task and besides that it will only be applicable in that specific project.
Because that is the other flaw, if i change story points to be mandatory it then implements it on all other projects. And i had to undo it. Knowing that it took me i while to figure out how to make i mandatory anyway.
So my question is, is there a tool or setting where i can tick perhaps a box or on/off switch so fields are not shown which we do not need and vice versa can make them visible and even mandatory for just that project and not al similar projects.
We use the non cloud version of JIRA btw. and i have administrator rights, but am not on the level of a guru, more the opposite :)
How is it shocking that a flexible and powerful system has complex administration?

I'm afraid the admin functions are already as simple as they can be. Jira is a powerful and flexible system, which means it has to have complex administration, and Atlassian have most of it simplified as far as they can. My only complaint is that the field system is fragmented (but I want rid of field configuration schemes completely)
